CRAME is a research-intensive centre in the Measurement, Evaluation and Cognition (MEC) area of the Department of Educational Psychology in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. We offer programs leading to a Master of Education (MEd) and a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree. The central purpose of CRAME is to conduct high-quality research and provide outstanding graduate programs in the areas of measurement, evaluation, and cognition--our current areas of interest include cognition applied to assessment, advanced psychometric and statistical modeling, and program evaluation.

CRAME has five faculty members: FormulasDrs. W. Todd Rogers, Mark J. Gierl, Jacqueline P. Leighton, Ying Cui and Cheryl Poth.

The Director is Dr. Mark J. Gierl.
